What is an orthodontic treatment?

Orthodontic treatment involves applying force to one or more teeth to move and reposition them to achieve perfect alignment and harmonious tooth balance. When all the teeth are aligned, the aesthetics and masticatory efficiency are optimized. An orthodontic treatment provides a straight profile and a beautiful smile, but it also improves occlusion, chewing, phonation, breathing, swallowing and growth. While it’s true that orthodontics are easier on children and teens, it’s never too late to start orthodontic treatment to perfect your smile.

Transparent gutters “Invisalign”

The 2000s saw the appearance of transparent gutters, sort of small removable plastic shells, as an alternative to housings, wires and elastics. The treatment is simple, just wear the gutters permanently (except for meals and brushing) and change them every 2 weeks.
